Authorised representative for foreign producers

As a producer without establishment in a respective EU member state, you are often only allowed to place electrical equipment, batteries, and packaging on the market if you appoint an authorised representative in this member state. This representative assumes clearly defined obligations towards the competent authorities and acts as your legal point of contact.

As part of the registration process, we also provide you with all necessary documentation for appointing an authorised representative in each country. In Germany, Bitkom Compliance Solutions is officially authorised to act as an authorised representative in accordance with the ElektroG and BattDG. We can also take on this role on your behalf. Our services include, among others:
