Amazon requires battery registration numbers for all EU countries
Have you been asked by Amazon to provide proof of your battery registration for all European countries where you sell your products?
Under the European Battery Regulation, starting 18 August 2025, it will be mandatory to provide a valid registration number for each country where products are sold to end customers via Amazon.
This applies to both batteries sold separately and products containing built-in rechargeable batteries.
