New Battery Regulation: Registration Only with Authorized Representative
As of 18 August 2025, manufacturers without a registered office in Germany will no longer be allowed to register themselves – they will be required to appoint an authorized representative based in Germany.
The Stiftung ear has therefore initiated the hearing process to revoke existing registrations.
