Extended producer responsibility on eBay as well from July 1, 2023
Alongside Amazon, eBay is now also demanding extended producer responsibility for electrical and electronic equipment.
eBay has announced that from July 1, 2023, eBay offers without a WEEE number from dealers in the electronics section of eBay.de will be hidden. As soon as the WEEE number has been added, the offer will be displayed again. This regulation applies to traders in Germany - both those who live in Germany and those who live abroad.
Dealers active on eBay are therefore required to provide proof of registration as soon as possible.
