Information on the transmission of guarantee amounts and insolvency-proof proof of guarantee in accordance with Section 7 ElektroG
Since 1 January 2024, it is no longer necessary for our customers to create so-called guarantee validity periods in the ear portal.
However, proof of quarantee must still be provided per calendar year and device type.
This means that the basic processes between you as our customer and us for issuing guarantees and the associated planned quantity enquiry will not change.
stiftung ear will gradually remind manufacturers or authorised representatives who have not provided any or sufficient proof of quarantee of the required and outstanding guarantees.
If you receive such a letter, please forward it to us - with a screenshot from the quantity overview in the ear portal, so that we can make the increase for you.
We will contact customers who have booked our reporting service or weee full-service if necessary. Otherwise there is no need for you to take any action.
