The prices for the disposal of electronic devices at the municipal collection points in Germany have been reconciled with our disposal partner for the upcoming year. The new prices come into effect on 1st January 2020 for our customers who signed the framework contract with our disposal partner. For customers who have a contract "weee full-service for quantities up to 5t" nothing changes. The affected customers have already been informed by e-mail with the new prices.
Unfortunately, market conditions are driving up the prices in all collection groups and, there will no longer be any credit notes in collection group 5. The price increase is mainly due to the following reasons:
Demand for metal scrap and recycled materials has declined sharply
Increased personnel costs due to the new minimum wage
Higher transport costs, e.g. due to the increase in tolls
High investment costs for systems and infrastructure - mainly due to increasing requirements on Buildings
Rising costs for the disposal of refrigerants and Plastics
Higher operating expenses for old battery-powered equipment and equipment, which are classified as dangerous good (ADR-relevant)
If you are interested, we will gladly send you a non-binding offer with the latest prices. We are looking forward to you contacting us.
