stiftung ear: New parameters for the calculation of guaranteed payments from 2025 onwards
The calculation of the insolvency-proof guarantee under the ElektroG for financing the take-back and disposal of WEEE will change from 2025.
Previous guarantee periods remain unaffected. stiftung ear announced updates to the following parameters on 1 September 2024

After major adjustments in 2023 - 2024, this time there will be significant increases for heat exchangers and gas discharge lamps. Otherwise, the guarantee amounts will remain largely stable.
Nothing will change for our weee full-service customers: We will automatically issue the warranty documents according to the new calculation method and send them to stiftung ear.
