With the entry into force of the BattG2 , the stiftung ear has been the new joint body for battery manufacturers since the beginning of the year. Manufacturers who have already been registered with the Federal Environment Agency must be approved by the end of 2021 at the latest, stating their take-back system.
Failure to do so could result in fines of up to 100,000 euros.
